Neil Frost your Host

Neil Frost recently returned from India, where he played Sebastian in a tour of ‘Twelfth Night’. He has appeared in the worlds longest running comedy revue show ‘News revue’ at the Canal Café Theatre, and has performed in many impro and stand-up shows. Steven Bloomer in “The Pillowman” by Martin McDonagh.

Trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, Steven spent the last year working with Paines Plough/FilmFour as part of their writer's group, 'Future Perfect' and has written short plays for the Globe, the Trafalgar Studios, Brighton Festival and the Liverpool Everyman. He is returning to acting and is looking for representation. His previous credits include 'Kes' (Manchester Royal Exchange), 'Wire in the Blood' (ITV), the world-premiere of 'Touch' (White Bear), and 'Upon the Roof' (Arcola). Rachel Tyson in “Breathing Corpses” by Laura Wade.

Rachel trained at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama credits include “Orestes 2.0”, “I Capture The Castle”, and “ The Erpingham Camp”. Rachel recently worked for Bigfish Theatre Company and has been in ‘Shakespeare Scenes’ (The Guilgud). She is an associate artist for the National Youth Theatre.

As the resident director of London Bites, Graham thinks it’s important to remind himself of the terror of performing under such intimate circumstances every now & again. He wrote this piece especially for tonight’s show & is really glad to be performing. Enjoy!

Clare-Louise English in “I Do” by Graham Lappin.

Clare-Louise trained at LAMDA, and has since played the lead in ‘The Dead House at Para’ (BBC Radio 4), Film credits include; mockumentry ‘Confetti’, zombie feature ‘Colin’ and ‘Can Can’. Theatre credits include; 2-hander ‘Essex Girls’, Red Riding Hood in ‘Red Riding Hood’, Helen of Troy ‘The Opposite of Show business’, ‘Measure for Measure’ and Trinculo in ‘The Tempest’. Clare is delighted to be performing in London Bites again, and more than a little nervous!

Emma Garrett in “O Go My Man” by Stella Feehily.

Emma has just graduated from E15 Acting School and recently finished a ‘Process workshop’ with Shared Experience. Winner of the Laurence Olivier Bursary 2006 and the John Hartley prize 2007. Credits include: Rachel ‘Live like Pigs’, Rosalind ‘As you like it’, Martha ‘Who’s afraid of Virginia Woolf? ’(Corbett Theatre).

Sarah studied at Mountview. Jenny trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Her recent credits include Zina in ‘Brezhnev’s Children’; Lady Capulet in ‘Romeo and Juliet’; Sally Durant Plumber in ‘Follies’, Phebe in ‘As You Like It‘ and various roles in ‘Elegies for Angels Punks and Raging Queens’. Phillip Langhorne in “The Homecoming” by Harold Pinter.

 

Phillip has just completed the number one tour of 'Pete and Dud: Come Again' playing Alan Bennett as well as other characters. Other theatre work includes 'Cabaret' at the Battersea Arts Centre. His work in television includes; ‘The Bill’ (Thames Television), ‘Silent Witness’ (BBC), ‘England Expects’ (BBC), and ‘Hotel Babylon’ (BBC). Luke has recently graduated from The Bridge Theatre Training Company. Josh Alexis in ‘East’ by Steven Berkoff.

Josh trained at The Bridge Theatre Training Company. He has appeared in many plays at Cecil Sharp House including ‘An ideal Husband’ and ‘A Winters Tale.’ And played Hamlet in ‘Hamlet’. Anna trained at LAMDA. Acting experience includes ‘Fingersmith’ (BBC), ‘Home’ (Offstage Theatre Company) and ‘Girl's Night Out’ (Croydon Warehouse Theatre). Anna recently completed a playwriting course at the Royal Court. Her plays include ‘No Reason at All, Except I Have Toothache’ (LAMDA), ‘Life Support’ (King's Head) and ‘Marianne’, her most recent work.
