Internships with Stand Up Drama

Stand Up Drama is always open to applications for internships for both London and Cardiff Bites.

In London we have over 2 years experience of producing our monthly show and have carried out previous successful internships.

London Bites internships can be tailored to the individual drawing on their strengths and giving them exposure to areas of particular interest.

Qualities of a London Bites Intern;

We are a small team so interns are treated as a valued member of that team and are often given their own projects. Therefore we expect our interns to integrate into the group and get along with each member.

You should be;- Pro-active, resourceful, creative, hardworking, and sociable.

With an interest in theatre, particularly Arts Management, Producing, Theatre PR/Marketing, Casting etc.

Current Placements

PR/Marketing Intern- London

London Bites’ small team is accepting submissions for an intern to work in PR and Marketing.

•This position would suit someone studying or just graduated from PR and/or Marketing courses with a special interest in theatre.

•Intern would bring fresh ideas to market current SUD show- London Bites, would be a great place to build up contacts and create relationships with Press and industry etc.

•This is an on-going position, so duration can be arranged to suit all.

Production Assistant-“Auntie & Me”- Feb 08- London

SUD is producing our first full-length play in Feb 08, and is accepting interns to work alongside our team during this exciting project.

•This position would suit those with interest in all aspects of theatre, who have studied Directing, Arts Management, Producing, Performance, or Marketing etc.

•Would cover 2/3 week period up to and including production week. (19th- 23rd Feb)

•Intern may get to experience wide spectrum of the production and it’s planning including, casting, rehearsals, marketing, FOH, creative process, PR, planning etc.
