Stand Up Drama Ltd is a performance event company that promotes new and established actors and writers to industry professionals and public audiences via high quality and entertaining monthly shows- London Bites.

At the unique Bites shows experience some of Britain’s best new actors performing bite-size pieces of comedy, drama and new writing in a cabaret style setting. - Bite-size theatre you can enjoy with a drink!

Stand Up Drama is run by Clare-Louise English, (daughter of the late actor Arthur English) and founded by Melissa Leigh (winner Best Producer for Stand Up Drama, Fringe Report Awards 2006).

Stand Up Drama launched October 2005 and is now an established part of British theatre, and already benefits from media ‘in-kind’ sponsorship from casting giant SPOTLIGHT.

The ‘Stand Up Drama’ unique concept:

‘It’s a revolutionary way to watch theatre’.

Stand Up Drama produces an exciting, energetic and cutting-edge show, a truly unique way of watching great theatre. The informal atmosphere is similar to stand up comedy, where audiences sit at tables and can eat and drink as they wish.

London Bites caters for all tastes- if you do not like one piece you are sure to like the next, and is perfect for the younger generation who may find traditional theatre stuffy and old-fashioned. The ‘Bite-size’ format lends itself brilliantly to downloads for this new fast-paced generation.

At the end of the show the audience is asked to participate by making suggestions to the actors during the hilarious improvisation games- Stand & Deliver.

S.U.D is offering the chance to be the 1st to support theatre via this young, hip movement.

Our Customers are; young (70% 18 – 35), creative, forward-thinking, sociable, fun, independent professionals with disposable income.

Long-term goal; SUD as well-known brand with shows in Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool and Glasgow.
